  1. This ReadMe mostly contains some brief details about my 3 gallery
  2. contributions:-

  4. 1) The Rematch  (640x512 JPEG)
  5.  
  6. I sketched and coloured the characters in DPaint.  The background was
  7. done with Photogenics, and an uncharacteristic level of patience.
  8.  
  9. I previously only drew my anthropomorphic characters on paper, so this
  10. was a bit of an experiment, although it hasn't turned out TOO badly.
  11. Trust me, they look far better on paper!

  14. 2) Wings  (640x512 JPEG)

  16. Again, sketched and coloured in DPaint, with a Photogenics background.
  17. Much of (1) applies.  I think this image is smoother than the previous
  18. one (but I still want a scanner...)

  21. 3) Curiosities  (640x720 JPEG)

  23. This image was rendered in Imagine.  I didn't render shadows as these
  24. ruined the poster effect I wanted.  I was aiming to create something in
  25. the style of James Marsh.  (He painted album/single covers for Talk Talk.)

  29. Please note that all characters used in the above mentioned pictures are
  30. Copyright Nick Rowe 1999.  Also, if anyone has read this, who is
  31. interested in anthropomorphics, you might find the website for Vision
  32. Comics of interest. ( http://vision.nais.com )   They used to publish a
  33. series of books called 'The American Journal of Anthropomorphics' which
  34. had contributions from Eric Schwartz in books 1-3.  (Great books but
  35. they are a real pig to track down.)
